This subsystem allows system users to process applications to certify radio operators against established competency levels. The Radio Operator Certification subsystem performs four (4) main functions: application processing, testing, authorization, and certificate management.

Application processing consists of capturing data about the following business objects:

Once data entry is completed, the applicant is sent to write exams at a recognized testing facility (this step is outside of AFMS). The exam results are recorded and the application authorized.
