SPECTROCAN conducted a three-week review of the existing radio regulatory
process at the Ministry of Industry, International Business and Telecommunications.
The evaluation resulted in a number of recommendations related to organizational
structure, operation and revenue. In November 2003, the Ministry of Industry,
International Business and Telecommunications acquired the Automated Frequency
Management System, AFMSLITE. The installation and
on-site testing took take place during the first semester of 2004, followed
by the corresponding training program. The acceptance of the system took
place at the end of June 2004. During July 2004, SPECTROCAN provided professional
services in support of AFMS and AFMS on-the-job training.In June and August
2005 SPECTROCAN provided additional advance training courses. A five-year
maintenance and support contract was signed in 2005.
