In Argentina SPECTROCAN worked in conjunction with Thomson Spectrum
de Argentina S.A. (TSA), a subsidiary of Thomson-CSF (now Thales) from
France, to provide a complete spectrum management and monitoring solution
to the National Communications Commission (CNC).The SPECTROCAN team delivered
the AFMS, an Oracle-based software that supported user licensing and spectrum
engineering and included a series of modules for revenue tracking, frequency
planning, radio equipment dealer licensing, equipment type approval, international
co-ordination, notification, radio operator certification, inspections
and complaints. Services provided through the contract included database
application design and development, system implementation, system documentation,
training and database administration.
